Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5 has a variety of shooting modes

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5 captures photos and movies in HD with 12MP of high resolution and a combination of high sensitivity and CCD shift image stablization to combat blurry images. This camera is a great point and shoot that captures quality pictures to showcase.

Recording Modes:
Program AE Mode
The subjects are recorded using your own settings.
Intelligent Auto Mode
The subjects are recorded using settings automatically selected by the
camera.
Aperture-Priority AE Mode
The shutter speed is automatically determined by the aperture value you set.
Shutter-Priority AE Mode
The aperture value is automatically determined by the shutter speed you set.
Manual Exposure Mode
The exposure is adjusted by the aperture value and the shutter speed which
are manually adjusted.
Creative Motion Picture Mode
Record motion picture with manual settings.
Custom Mode
Use this mode to take pictures with previously registered settings.
Scene Mode
This allows you to take pictures that match the scene being recorded.
My Color Mode
Use this mode to check coloring effects, select a color mode from among
twelve color modes, and then take pictures.

FujiFilm Finepix S1800 has a high sensitivity and CCD shift image stabilization. With the slightest hand shake, this camera can eliminate blurry photos at the maximum zoom. The maximum ISO of 6400 allows for natural photos in limited lighting.

Autofocus
Although the camera boasts a high-precision autofocus system, it may be unable to focus on the subjects listed below. If the camera is unable to focus using autofocus, use focus lock (pg. 24) to focus on another subject at the same distance and then recompose the photograph.
• Very shiny subjects such as mirrors or car bodies.
• Fast-moving subjects.
• Subjects photographed through a window or other reflective object.
• Dark subjects and subjects that absorb rather than refl ect light, such as hair or fur.
• Insubstantial subjects, such as smoke or fl ame.
• Subjects that show little contrast with the background (for example, subjects in clothing that is the
same color as the background).
• Subjects positioned in front of or behind a highcontrast object that is also in the focus frame (for example, a subject photographed against a backdrop of highly contrasting elements).

The handy Panasonic Lumix DMC-FP3

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FP3 features an enhanced 4x optical zoom Lumix DC Vario lens. The folded optics of the shaft guide method is adopted to secure the toughness of the lens unit. The new lens cover both protects the lens from scratches or dust and is also the camer’s on and off switch which makes it easy to turn the camera on.

The DMC-FP3 is equipped with a 4x optical zoom lens (35mm camera equivalent: 35-140mm). The Extra Optical Zoom function*1uses the center part of the CCD to extend this 4x zoom ratio to powerful 8.4x zoom (35mm camera equivalent: 295mm) at a resolution of 3-megapixel or less. Adding the Extra Optical Zoom to the 4x digital zoom*2 extends the total zooming power to a maximum of 33.8x.
The parallel processing of software resulted in ultra high-speed start-ups of approx. 0.96 second

Notes on recording/playback
• To ensure stable operations of the memory card, we recommend that you use
this camera to format any memory card being used with this camera for the
first time. Note that formatting will erase all data recorded on the memory
card. This data cannot be restored. Be sure to back-up any important data to a
PC or other storage location.
• If you repeatedly record/delete images, fragmentation of data may occur on
the memory card. Movies may not be able to be saved or recorded. In such a
case, save your images to a PC or other storage location, then [Format].
• Before you start recording, make a trial recording to make sure that the
camera is working correctly.
• The camera is neither dust-proof, nor splash-proof, nor water-proof. Read
“Precautions” (page 26) before operating the camera.
• Avoid exposing the camera to water. If water enters inside the camera, a
malfunction may occur. In some cases, the camera cannot be repaired.
• Do not aim the camera at the sun or other bright light. It may cause the
malfunction of the camera.
• Do not use the camera near a location that generates strong radio waves or
emits radiation. Otherwise, the camera may not properly record or play back
images.
• Using the camera in sandy or dusty locations may cause malfunctions.
• If moisture condensation occurs, remove it before using the camera.
• Do not shake or strike the camera. It may cause a malfunction and you may
not be able to record images. Furthermore, the recording media may become
unusable or image data may be damaged.
• Clean the flash surface before use. The heat of flash emission may cause dirt
on the flash surface to become discolored or to stick to the flash surface,
resulting in insufficient light emission.
